Elevate is the apprenticeship ministry of Tapestry Church, where students of CSBS&C may earn Field Education credit while gaining valuable hands-on experience. As an apprentice, you will have opportunities for intentional personal growth in four areas:

Disciple - You will be challenged to adopt the lifestyle of a disciple-making disciple of Jesus. For us, this means growing as a follower of Jesus in four key ways:  

• Gospel Fluency: Applying the Good News to a variety of everyday situations.  
  
• Gospel Community: Connecting deeply with others within the body of Christ and in the world.  
  
• Gospel Nourishment: Growing in capacity to feed self and others spiritually from God’s word.  
  
• Gospel Power: Encountering, recognizing and participating in God’s activity in prayer and action.

Lead - You will have opportunities to identify your own leadership strengths and weaknesses through hands-on experience on a ministry team, as well as in a Gospel Community. By the end of the year, you should be equipped to lead a team or a new community.

Mentor - You will participate in a weekly cohort mentorship, and a monthly Tapestry Equip training opportunity. Our aim is to stimulate spiritual, academic, and personal growth through ongoing access to seasoned leaders. Before the end of the year, you should also be engaged in mentoring another believer.

Multiply - In addition to growing as a disciple and developing as a leader, you will be challenged to move forward in your missional engagement in the world. You will conduct “missional exploration” of a strategic people group or neighborhood in the city of Calgary, as well as cultivating and tracking intentional relationships with not-yet believers.
